The Karilopatna Degree College being an Utkal University affiliated college, the curriculum designing authority is the university. The Principal holds meetings with senior members of the faculty in the beginning of the session to frame the policy for effective implementation of the curriculum provided by the Utkal university Bhubaneswar. Due consideration is given to the academic calendar regarding unitization of syllabi, teaching, house tests, monthly tests etc.
